ScaleMySet is digital access. Once access is granted, all sales are final. Canceling stops the next renewal charge, not the current paid period, and there are no prorated refunds except where required by law or expressly approved in writing.
Refund Policy
No refunds after access is granted.
Last updated June 21, 2026. You can cancel future renewals whenever you want, but ScaleMySet does not prorate or refund the current paid access period once access is granted.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how ScaleMySet handles refunds, subscription cancellations, renewal charges, prorations, chargebacks, duplicate charges, access issues, promotional access, and billing disputes.
ScaleMySet is a digital access service for building-block-compatible STL downloads, generated ZIP packs, scaling tools, saved projects, filament tools, print checklists, community features, and related account tools. Once paid access is granted, you receive access to digital content and account features for the paid access period.
Because access is digital and can be used immediately, ScaleMySet does not provide refunds after access has been granted except where required by law or expressly approved by ScaleMySet in writing.
2. Short version
All sales are final once access is granted.
There are no prorated refunds.
You may cancel a subscription at any time to stop future renewal charges.
Canceling does not refund the current billing period. Your paid access continues until the end of the period you already paid for unless your account is terminated under the Terms of Service.
Mandatory legal rights, payment-provider rules, duplicate charges, unauthorized charges, or clear access failures may require different handling in limited situations.
3. No refunds after access is granted
ScaleMySet does not provide refunds once paid access has been granted to your account, even if you do not download files, do not generate packs, do not use all features, change your mind, choose the wrong plan, no longer need the service, dislike a file, stop printing, experience printer problems, or forget to cancel before renewal.
Access is considered granted when ScaleMySet, the checkout flow, or the payment provider activates paid account status, unlocks protected downloads, enables paid tools, confirms subscription access, creates an account entitlement, or otherwise makes paid features available to you.
Digital access may be valuable even if only some features are used. ScaleMySet cannot reliably return, revoke, or verify non-use of downloaded files, generated packs, previews, metadata, saved projects, or other digital materials after access has been granted.
4. No prorations
ScaleMySet does not provide prorated refunds for unused days, partial months, partial years, early cancellation, account inactivity, feature non-use, downgrades, switching plans, missed renewal reminders, or deciding to stop using the service before the end of a paid period.
If you cancel a subscription, cancellation stops future renewal charges. It does not shorten the current access period and does not convert the unused portion of that period into a refund or credit.
If a payment provider, app store, marketplace, card issuer, or applicable law requires a different result, that required process controls only to the extent required.
5. Subscription cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time through account billing tools, through the payment provider, or by contacting ScaleMySet support when self-service tools are unavailable.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges after the current paid period. It does not refund the period already purchased.
After cancellation, paid access normally remains available until the end of the then-current billing period, unless access is suspended or terminated under the Terms of Service, payment is reversed, fraud is detected, a chargeback is filed, or applicable law or payment-provider rules require a different outcome.
Deleting files, not signing in, not using the service, deleting browser data, uninstalling a shortcut, unsubscribing from marketing email, or sending a general support message does not cancel a subscription unless the message clearly asks ScaleMySet to cancel and ScaleMySet confirms or processes that cancellation.
6. Renewal charges
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled unless the checkout flow or plan terms say otherwise.
You are responsible for canceling before the renewal date if you do not want to be charged again. Renewal charges are not refundable merely because you forgot to cancel, missed a reminder, did not use the service, did not receive an email, changed email addresses, changed payment methods, or no longer need access.
If a renewal charge is caused by a clear ScaleMySet billing error, duplicate charge, unauthorized charge, payment-provider error, or other issue that applicable law requires ScaleMySet or the payment provider to correct, ScaleMySet will review the issue and handle it as required.
7. Lifetime and promotional purchases
Lifetime, promotional, discounted, coupon, sample, trial, beta, admin, or special-offer purchases are final once access is granted, unless the offer terms, checkout flow, payment-provider rules, or applicable law require a different result.
Lifetime access means access for the life of the ScaleMySet service under the purchased plan terms. It does not mean access for your lifetime, a guaranteed minimum number of years, or access to every future product, file source, third-party integration, or plan feature.
Promotional pricing may be limited, experimental, discontinued, or changed for future purchases. A later price change, discount, feature change, or promotion does not create a refund or price-adjustment right for a prior purchase.
8. Plan changes and feature changes
ScaleMySet may change plans, pricing, feature names, file availability, support targets, catalog coverage, community features, and integrations over time as described in the Terms of Service.
A feature change, catalog update, file replacement, discontinued feature, unavailable third-party integration, changed support target, or changed plan description does not create a refund right unless required by law or expressly promised in writing for your purchase.
If ScaleMySet offers an upgrade, downgrade, credit, extension, or plan adjustment, it is discretionary unless the checkout terms or applicable law require it.
9. Downloaded files and generated packs
Refunds are not available because you downloaded the wrong file, generated the wrong pack, selected the wrong scale, selected the wrong color, chose the wrong quantity, changed your project, printed unsuccessfully, had printer calibration issues, used incompatible slicer settings, or experienced filament, resin, support, bed adhesion, tolerance, or post-processing problems.
ScaleMySet may offer support, issue reports, catalog repairs, replacement files, regenerated packs, documentation, or workflow guidance when reasonable, but those support efforts do not create a refund right.
You are responsible for inspecting model geometry, scale, slicer output, printer settings, material choice, supports, tolerances, safety, and intended use before printing.
10. Access issues
If payment succeeds but paid access is not granted because of a ScaleMySet or payment-provider error, contact support promptly. ScaleMySet may restore access, extend access, correct the account, coordinate with the payment provider, or refund the charge if required or appropriate.
Access issues caused by incorrect account email, user device problems, browser settings, blocked cookies, network issues, unsupported browsers, password loss, user-side configuration, or failure to complete checkout do not automatically create a refund right.
ScaleMySet may ask for information needed to locate and verify the purchase, such as account email, transaction ID, invoice ID, checkout ID, payment-provider receipt, purchase date, and a description of the issue.
11. Duplicate, mistaken, or unauthorized charges
If you believe you were charged twice for the same access period, charged after confirmed cancellation, charged the wrong amount, or charged without authorization, contact ScaleMySet or the payment provider promptly.
ScaleMySet will review available account, billing, payment-provider, subscription, and access records. If a duplicate, mistaken, unauthorized, or legally refundable charge is confirmed, ScaleMySet or the payment provider may refund, void, reverse, credit, correct, or otherwise resolve the charge.
A charge is not considered mistaken merely because you forgot to cancel, did not use the service, misunderstood the plan, did not read the checkout terms, or no longer want access after it was granted.
12. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback, bank dispute, payment reversal, or similar dispute, ScaleMySet may suspend or terminate access while the dispute is reviewed.
ScaleMySet may provide account, access, checkout, download, subscription, cancellation, support, security, and transaction records to the payment provider, card network, bank, fraud-prevention provider, or other dispute processor.
Chargebacks may result in loss of access, canceled subscription status, blocked future purchases, preservation of records, denial of discretionary refunds, and other action allowed by the Terms of Service and applicable law.
If you have a billing concern, contacting support first is usually faster and less disruptive than opening a payment dispute.
13. Account termination and violations
ScaleMySet does not provide refunds for accounts suspended or terminated for violating the Terms of Service, sharing account access, redistributing digital files, scraping catalog data, abusing downloads, filing fraudulent disputes, harassing users, posting unlawful content, or creating security, legal, payment, or safety risk.
If access is revoked because of fraud, misuse, rights infringement, security abuse, chargeback activity, account sharing, prohibited commercial conduct, or other Terms violations, any refund is at ScaleMySet's discretion unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations, digital-file restrictions, commercial-use limits, or other obligations that survive under the Terms of Service.
14. Taxes and fees
Taxes, payment-provider fees, currency conversion amounts, bank fees, card fees, marketplace fees, and other transaction charges may be handled by the payment provider and may not be refundable by ScaleMySet.
If a tax or fee refund is legally required or processed by the payment provider, it may be handled separately from the ScaleMySet access charge.
Exchange-rate changes, foreign transaction fees, bank charges, card fees, and local tax treatment are outside ScaleMySet's control and do not create a refund right from ScaleMySet.
15. Mandatory legal rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits cancellation, refund, withdrawal, chargeback, consumer-protection, or payment rights that cannot legally be waived.
If applicable law gives you a mandatory refund right, cooling-off right, subscription right, digital-content right, or other non-waivable protection, ScaleMySet will comply to the extent the law applies.
Some digital-content laws may allow refund or withdrawal rights to end once digital access begins or digital content is supplied. The exact result depends on the law that applies to you, the checkout terms, payment-provider rules, and whether access was granted.
16. Payment-provider rules
Stripe or another payment provider may process checkout, invoices, subscription status, taxes, refunds, cancellations, fraud screening, chargebacks, and customer communications.
A payment provider may apply its own buyer terms, refund procedures, dispute procedures, timing, identity checks, tax handling, and fraud rules. ScaleMySet may be unable to override payment-provider decisions, card-network rules, banking rules, or legally required processes.
If a payment provider issues or denies a refund under its own process, ScaleMySet may adjust account access, subscription status, and internal records to match the payment outcome.
17. How to request review of a billing issue
To request review of a billing issue, email support@scalemyset.com with the subject line "Billing Review" or "Refund Review."
Include the account email, payment-provider receipt or invoice ID if available, purchase date, plan purchased, amount charged, and a clear explanation of the issue.
Do not include full payment card numbers, bank account numbers, government ID numbers, passwords, private keys, or other highly sensitive information in email.
ScaleMySet may ask for additional information to verify the account, locate the transaction, confirm cancellation status, investigate access, or coordinate with the payment provider.
18. Response timing
ScaleMySet will try to review billing issues promptly, but response timing may depend on support volume, holidays, time zone, payment-provider response times, card-network processes, account verification, fraud review, and the complexity of the issue.
A support acknowledgment does not mean a refund will be granted. A refund, credit, extension, or other adjustment is not approved unless ScaleMySet or the payment provider confirms it.
Refunds, if approved, may take additional time to appear depending on the payment method, card issuer, bank, currency, country, and payment-provider process.
19. Updates to this policy
ScaleMySet may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date.
The Refund Policy in effect at the time of purchase generally governs that purchase unless applicable law, checkout terms, payment-provider rules, or a written agreement requires a different result.
Continued use of ScaleMySet after an update means the updated Refund Policy applies to future purchases and future use going forward.
20. Contact
Questions about refunds, cancellation, renewal charges, subscription access, billing disputes, duplicate charges, or payment-provider records can be sent to support@scalemyset.com.
Please include enough detail for ScaleMySet to understand the issue, but do not include full card numbers, passwords, government IDs, or other highly sensitive information.
